Multi-stage machine polish that physically removes swirls, scratches, and dealer-prep marks. Real correction, not a hide-the-defect filler.

Every car comes out of the dealer wash bay with swirl marks. Every car gets micro-scratches from years of brush washes and improper drying. Paint correction is the only fix — a multi-stage machine polish that levels the clear coat slightly, removing the defects instead of filling them with wax.

Defect inspection under proper light

LED swirl-finder lights show every scratch, swirl, and water spot. Ricardo grades the paint before quoting the right tier.

Single-stage polish

Daily-driver-friendly tier. One compound + pad combo, removes 60–80% of light defects, gives the paint a clean reset.

Two-stage polish

Show-finish tier. Cut stage removes deeper marks, refine stage brings depth and gloss back. 90–95% defect removal.

Pad + product matched to the paint

Soft Japanese clears need different products than hard German clears. Lexus-trained technique, not one-pad-fits-all.

Final inspection + protection

Polish residue removed, paint sealed or coated to protect the work.

Process

How it runs.

01 · Decon wash

Foam bath + clay before the polisher touches the paint. Any contamination left behind grinds into the clear coat.

02 · Test spot

Ricardo dials in the pad + compound combo on a small panel, shows you the before/after under the swirl-finder light.

03 · Section-by-section correction

Methodical, panel by panel. No shortcuts. Polish residue wiped between stages.

04 · Seal or coat

Bare polished paint is unprotected. Sealant for short-term, ceramic for long-term — your call before the work starts.

Common questions.

Does correction take clear coat off?

Yes — that's how it works. Modern clear coats are 30–50 microns; correction removes 2–5 microns. Done right, you can correct the same panel several times in the car's lifetime.

Mobile or in-shop?

In-shop. Correction needs controlled lighting and a dust-free environment to be done properly. The shop is set up for it.

How long does the correction last?

Forever — the defects are physically gone. New scratches and swirls show up over time from washing habits, but the original ones don't come back.
